Qualifications

Job Description:

Job Title – R&D Scientist 2

Pay Rate – 40-45k

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out GxP analytical test methods as outlined in Technical Documents or Protocols.
• Responsible for research, method development, and troubleshooting lab systems including HPLC, UV-Vis, fluorimetry, dynamic wound models, and FT-IR.
• Oversee training of new lab members.
• Draft and review protocols, working instructions, technical documents, technical reports, and SOPs.
• Manage assets and equipment procurement.
• Utilize eQMS experience to carry out lab work in a GxP regulatory environment.
• Perform data interpretation, processing, and generate graphical outputs.

Skills & Experience:

• 3 to 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing analytical methodologies.
• Independent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and operate with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Expertise in metrology and asset management.
• Knowledge of SIFT-Mass Spectrometry is an advantage.
• Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the lab.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability for original thinking.
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
