Neudata’s mission is to demystify the vast data landscape for our clients. We provide independent advice to asset managers and corporations, helping them, through our intelligence to make informed decisions on datasets. In doing so, we aim to save them both time and money.
Our specialism sits in alternative data. From credit card transactional data to social media sentiment products to mobile app datasets - our goal is to ensure we communicate not only what alternative data products exist, but also why someone would want to use them.

Neudata’s research team is at the core of what we do. Clients of Neudata have access to:
a. Our research portal, allowing them to browse our catalogue of dataset reports, each of which is written by a member of the research team and pertaining to a dataset (e.g. short positions data by vendor X).
b. Our research team’s expertise, allowing us to help them make informed data decisions (e.g. through calls where we share our opinion on the most appropriate dataset for their needs)
Joining Neudata as a Research Analyst, the role will primarily entail:

Who we are looking for
The successful candidate will have an enthusiasm for data and understand its impact to users in various industries, particularly the financial sector. Additionally, they will want to strive for success as a team and company for our clients.
To do this, they must have strong written and communication skills, enjoy relationship building and have an inquiring mindset. The analyst will spend a large portion of their workday interacting with:
The candidate is not required to have advanced knowledge or experience of data science. We are looking for someone with a hunger to become an industry expert in alternative data and an eagerness to help discover new, under the radar datasets.
Preferably, the candidate will have some knowledge of the investment management industry, including some experience. Similarly, any prior knowledge of the alternative data market is also a plus.
