Job Opportunity: Requirements Engineer

Astute’s Nuclear team is partnering with a business experienced in decommissioning, waste management, engineering design, R&D, and refurbishment to recruit a Requirements Engineer on a 12-month contract for its Aldermaston site.

The Requirements Engineer role offers an hourly rate between £60 and £63.

Role Responsibilities

As a Requirements Engineer, you will provide expertise across multiple programmes, working closely with and advising the Project Manager or Engineering Task Manager. Your goal is to ensure the effective use of Systems Engineering methods, tools, and processes.

Key Skills
  • Experience utilising DOORS (preferably at practitioner level)
  • Degree or equivalent in engineering supported by practical experience
  • Experience with abstract modelling techniques supporting lifecycle processes (e.g., Use Cases, Context Diagrams)
  • Experience in system design and specification, including interface design
  • Basic understanding of the UK Nuclear Industry
Location, Remuneration, and Duration
  • Hourly rate between £60 and £63
  • 12+ month contract
  • Candidates must hold SC clearance at minimum and be able to obtain DV clearance
  • Outside IR35
