Summary
Join our team as a Specialist Pharmacist for Surgery, responsible for providing a specialized pharmacy service to the Surgical wards and directorates. Your role will involve developing pharmacy services within the specialty, enhancing clinical skills, and supporting the Surgery Lead Pharmacist in delivering a high-quality, cost-effective, and efficient patient-centered pharmacy service within Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and enhance pharmacy services within the Surgical specialty.
Play a crucial role in preventing hospital-acquired infections and promoting prudent antibiotic usage.
Assist in controlling the annual drug expenditure for the Division and specialist area.
Fulfill the role of a Non-Medical Prescriber within the specialist area (subject to necessary qualification).
