The School of Pharmacy at Queen’s University Belfast is actively recruiting an outstanding candidate for the position of Lead Pharmacist for Foundation Training Year (Maternity Cover).

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the Foundation Training Year for pharmacists.
  • Fulfill the Commission from the Department of Health and facilitate the implementation of Government strategy for the delivery of pharmacy services.
  • Travel to training sites across Northern Ireland.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Pharmacy.
  • Member or eligible for membership of the Pharmaceutical Society of Northern Ireland.
  • Substantial recent experience as a Registered Pharmacist.
  • Experience in community pharmacy, hospital, and/or primary care.
  • Proven networking within the pharmacy field and multi-disciplinary collaboration.
