Job summary

Harrison Scott Associates is seeking an experienced Repro / Pre-Press Graphic Operator in Kent. The role covers artwork preparation, pre-press, CTP plate production and digital printing with strong customer-facing elements.

You will ensure artwork is print-ready, correctly prepared for production and maintained to high quality standards while liaising with customers and colleagues to resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a repro, artwork or pre-press environment.
• Experience checking and correcting customer-supplied PDF artwork.
• Knowledge of RIP and pre-press workflows.
• Understanding colour management and colour accuracy.
• Experience operating CTP plate production or ability to learn.
• Experience with digital printing equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Press & Artwork: receive, pre-flight and prepare files for print production.
• CTP Plate Production: operate and maintain plate-setting equipment; check quality.
• Digital Printing: set up and process digital print jobs; check colour and finish.
• General Duties: collaborate with teams, meet deadlines, maintain records and safety.
