Job summary

Kings College London Students' Union is recruiting a Representation and Influence Coordinator to support student representatives in governance and enable participation in decision-making. You will build relationships with stakeholders, coach student leaders, and manage the Influence Strategic Priority as part of Strategy 2030.

The role focuses on developing student influence, overseeing accountability processes, and coordinating cross-campus initiatives within KCLSU’s Band 4 structure.

Qualifications

  • Eligible to work in the UK with proof when requested.
  • Must have a National Insurance number or be in the process of applying.
  • Must not be a trustee of Kings College London Students' Union.

As the Representation and Influence Coordinator, it is your role to support student representatives in navigating university governance and facilitate student participation in decision-making. Responsibilities include:

  • Building relationships with key stakeholders, enabling student voice, and providing coaching for student leaders.
  • Developing students’ influence and overseeing the Student Officer Accountability Procedure.
  • Project managing the Influence Strategic Priority as part of KCLSU’s Strategy 2030.

Salary: £34,804– £40,373. This is a KCLSU Band 4 role, and the successful candidate will be appointed on Spine Point 4.1 (£34,804).

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Be eligible to work in the UK, and provide proof of this (i.e. a passport or visa) when asked by KCLSU. Please note that KCLSU is unable to offer visa sponsorship.
  • Have a National Insurance number, or be in the process of applying for one.
  • Not be a trustee of King's College London Students' Union.
