Job summary

Turner-Whittman Logistics Limited in Gravesend, England, is seeking a HGV Class 1 Tramper to join our expanding fleet. You will drive between fulfilment centres, with no loading or unloading, and return home after each pattern.

The role offers £41,600 gross per year plus £25 night-out allowance, weekly pay, 28 days' holiday, and a company pension. You will work five shifts per week with four nights out.

We're growing our fleet and looking for reliable Class 1 drivers to join our team for long-term work with one of the world's leading e-commerce companies.You'll drive between fulfilment centres, complete your shifts and return to your home location at the end of your working pattern.

What the job looks like

You'll mainly transport goods between fulfilment centres, so you can focus on what you do best – driving.Most shifts are around 12 hours and can include both day and night work. You'll normally have an 11-hour daily rest period, with occasional longer hours or weekend work during particularly busy periods. There is no loading or unloading expected from you.

What we're looking for

• A valid C+E licence
• Driver CPC / DQC card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• At least 6 months' HGV Class 1 driving experience
• A good understanding of UK drivers' hours and tachograph regulations
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DD, DR or IN endorsements
• Sufficient spoken and written English for the role
• Confidence using mobile phone apps – training can be provided if needed
• Flexibility to work up to 60 hours per week where required
• Successful applicants will also need to complete the required background check and drug and alcohol screening
• Drive safely between fulfilment centres
