Job summary

The Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a reporting sonographer to join the ultrasound team across Leeds General Infirmary, St James's, and other sites. The role covers obstetric, acute inpatient and outpatient ultrasound, as well as pre- and post- renal and liver transplant scans, and paediatric work.

Based in a multi-disciplinary department with radiologists and fellow sonographers, you will develop a broad ultrasound caseload in a fast-paced environment.

• Support the obstetric ultrasound workload alongside acute inpatient and outpatient services
• Support the pre and post renal and liver transplant ultrasound service
• Deliver high quality patient care across the trust's sites
• Work across the Leeds General Infirmary and St James's, with possible work at Seacroft and Wharfedale

Job description

A reporting sonographer post in the ultrasound team at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, with work spread across the Leeds General Infirmary, St James's and peripheral sites. The role covers obstetric, acute inpatient and outpatient ultrasound, plus pre and post renal and liver transplant scans, and includes paediatric work. Sitting in a multi-disciplinary department alongside sonographers and radiologists, it suits someone looking to develop a broad ultrasound caseload in a fast-paced setting. The trust cannot sponsor applicants who fall outside Skilled Worker eligibility.
