Reporting Sonographer - R&R Premium of £10,000

Join our team as a Reporting Sonographer at Katalysysts Consulting.

Job Summary

The ultrasound department at The Great Western Hospital is seeking kind, compassionate, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team of sonographers.

Proficiency in ultrasound in any of the following fields is desirable:

  • Vascular
  • Obstetrics
  • General Medical and small parts
  • Gynaecology
  • Neck
  • Musculo-skeletal
  • Interventional

We offer a generous recruitment bonus of £10,000 for new personnel. Our team of 10 sonographers works closely with radiologists, nurses, and other health professionals, focusing on Service, Teamwork, Ambition, and Respect.

The Great Western Hospital is located in Swindon, with excellent connections to London, Wales, and the South, and is close to the Cotswolds.

Main duties include:

  • Performing ultrasound scans and caring for patients during examinations.
  • Assessing patients and adapting scanning techniques accordingly.
  • Writing concise, professional reports and discussing findings with clinicians.
  • Managing workload and maintaining departmental stock levels.
  • Adhering to all relevant policies and using departmental IT systems.

We are introducing a recruitment and retention premium (R&R) of £10,000, payable in two installments: £5,000 upon starting and £5,000 after one year. If leaving within four years, repayment is required based on the time served.
