Job description

Our international banking client are seeking to appoint a Tax Reporting Officer to ensure they are compliant with global tax regulations, including the CRS (Common Reporting Standard), FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act), and QI (Qualified Intermediary) regimes.

This role involves managing tax reporting processes, ensuring regulatory adherence, and supporting internal stakeholders in tax compliance matters.

Your responsibilities will include assisting in the timely and accurate reporting of client tax information to regulatory authorities under CRS, FATCA, and QI obligations, performing reasonableness and accuracy checks under relevant tax regimes against client tax documentation, monitoring regulatory changes to ensure the Bank's reporting frameworks remain compliant, assisting in audits, reviews, and remediation efforts related to tax reporting compliance.

Your qualifications and skills will include knowledge of CRS and FATCA regulations. QI regulatory knowledge is desirable but not essential. Experience in tax reporting, compliance, or financial operations within a banking or financial services environment. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy. Have the ability to work with large datasets and familiarity with tax reporting systems/tools, as well as being a strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement across different departments.
