Reporting & Data Specialist

Location: York, Leeds or Norwich based (50% hybrid working)

Salary: circa £50,000

This is a great job for someone who loves working with data, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys solving complex problems. You might be newly qualified or already experienced in investment operations or reporting – either way, you’re ready to step into a subject matter expert role and make a real impact.

A bit about the job:

You’ll be part of our Investment Reporting team in Finance & Investment Operations. We look after investment assets, making sure the data is accurate, complete, and ready for reporting. In this role, you’ll analyse new assets, respond to data queries, and support change initiatives. You’ll also work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and help improve our controls and processes.

Skills and experience we’re looking for:

  • Investment or accounting qualification preferred (e.g. IOC, CFA, ACA, ACCA).
  • Strong understanding of the investment lifecycle from trade to reporting.
  • Confident working with large datasets and complex asset types.
  • Comfortable escalating issues and sharing ideas with the team.
  • Seen as a subject matter expert on investment instruments and their attributes.
