Key Responsibilities

  2. Design and implement new Microsoft SQL Server reports, ensuring data is presented clearly and effectively.
  3. Develop Microsoft T-SQL views and queries to extract and manipulate data from the College's MIS.

  8. Research and evaluate emerging IT trends and tools that could enhance systems and reporting capabilities.
You Will Also Be Responsible For:

  2. Actively contributing to a collaborative team environment and supporting shared goals.
  3. Delivering improvements to operational systems and leading the development of smaller-scale IT projects.
  4. Ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction through responsive and user-focused service delivery.
  5. Advising colleagues on data and reporting best practices to drive efficiency and consistency.
  6. Contributing to the development and delivery of the College's IT strategy, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
  7. Building strong working relationships with staff across departments to better understand and meet their information needs.
  8. Diagnosing and resolving complex system issues and advising on significant changes to IT systems.
  9. Recommending new technologies and promoting continuous improvement in system delivery and performance.
  10. Supporting operational planning, self-assessment, and performance monitoring across the IT directorate to contribute to broader institutional goals.
  11. Assisting in monitoring and reporting on service level agreements and performance standards.
  12. Undertaking other duties as required within the role's responsibilities.
