Purpose of the Role
12 months FTC - 3 days per week
The Reporting and Project Specialist, as part of the Editorial Excellence Team, will provide project management expertise to ensure quality and performance across processes and systems within the Editorial Excellence teams (namely the Indexing, Policy, and Research Integrity Teams). The role involves maintaining successful relationships with key business partners and vendors to deliver the team’s objectives.
Responsibilities
- Project manage the integrity team's workstreams and projects, especially high-stakes projects.
- Act as a central knowledge point regarding these business areas, supporting colleagues within the Editorial Excellence team and wider company.
- Initiate and deliver business projects within agreed timeframes.
- Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Monitor the impact of initiatives, ensuring appropriate reporting and analysis to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
- Communicate with stakeholders to provide necessary information, keep them informed of progress, risks, and issues, and secure ongoing buy-in.
- Provide project-level reporting across all initiatives.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
Essential- Experience managing and developing complex, interconnected business projects.
- Experience working with diverse stakeholders at various levels globally.
Desirable- Understanding of the research publishing landscape and research integrity challenges.
- Experience implementing new technologies and workflows in a commercial environment.
- Negotiation experience and integrating customer and operational requirements.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma methodologies.
Skills
- Understanding of publishing workflows and research integrity issues.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and numeracy skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills. Ability to lead projects independently and collaboratively.
