Reporting and Control - Property Accounting Manager

Job Type: Full time, permanent

Hours: 35 hrs per week, Monday to Friday

We're recruiting for a Property Accounting Manager, reporting to the Senior Finance Manager - Property. In this role, you'll manage the financial reporting and control for the Property Accounting team and work with the wider team to develop best-in-class financial and reporting capability.

What you'll do
  • Accurate and efficient accounting and reporting of Fixed Assets, maintaining records for over £4bn fixed assets and additions of >£500m p.a.
  • People management and supporting the team of analysts at EXL to manage accurate and timely processing and reporting of fixed assets and property accounting.
  • Lead and assist on relevant project/analytical work, ensuring risks and opportunities are flagged.
  • Engage with Finance Business Partners to facilitate visibility and timely accounting of construction, refurbishments, R&M spend, and major IT projects.
  • Deliver quality month-end reporting, improving reporting timeliness and accuracy of balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Drive enhancements to CIP and project spend reporting.
What we need

  • Technical skills: ability to challenge confidently while maintaining professional relationships; organized and disciplined.
