Job description

The Reporting Analyst will deliver end-to-end analysis and development of reports for delivery owners, including requirement gathering, documentation, development, and UAT of reports and dashboards. The role involves challenging delivery owners to ensure requirements align with true business needs and that reporting solutions are robust. Effective communication with delivery owners is essential to ensure understanding and agreement on reporting requirements. The analyst will also recommend improvements in data sourcing, report development, Power BI dashboard design, performance, and monitoring.

This customer-facing role sits within the delivery team and collaborates with the Business Intelligence team, following clear directives on reporting methodology and frequency.

Delivery Responsibilities
  • Deliver PMO reporting on the Cornerstone delivery process, including acquisition, design, build, and decommissioning activities, to track time, cost, and quality metrics against targets.
  • Provide visibility into future work stream profiles by maintaining up-to-date forecasts and tracking third-party projections, including exception reporting and trend analysis.
  • Support Capex & Opex targets by applying standards and policies, escalating exceptions as needed for informed decision-making.
  • Build and maintain relationships with delivery teams, project and regional teams, and other stakeholders to ensure policy adherence and clear communication.
  • Provide data, analytics, and dashboards to manage third-party suppliers and support business targets through effective reporting.
Business Intelligence Skills
  • Validate data quality and map data lineage from source to report.
  • Develop and support dashboards using Power BI, leveraging strong DAX and Power Query skills.
  • Collaborate with the BI team to enhance reports and data utility for internal and external users.
Compliance & Security
  • Contribute to health and safety, environmental, business continuity, and information security initiatives.
Experience & Skills
  • Proficient in Power BI, with extensive experience in DAX and Power Query.
  • Experience in large-scale infrastructure or network deployment projects within telecoms.
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills across organizational levels.
  • Ability to understand and model data relationships, and to organize data for analysis and presentation.
