Job description

The role reports to the Head of BI and involves working closely with them and the team to produce high-quality reporting and data extracts using Google Big Query, Looker Studio, Looker, and the Google Suite of software.

The position is primarily remote, with a requirement to be in the Magna Park office 3-4 times a month.

Principal Accountabilities

• Utilise SQL and visualization tools to deliver reports, dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and analytics for the wider business.
• Collaborate with the Head of BI to understand reporting needs across Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, and Sales teams.
• Design high-quality outputs suitable for deployment across multiple departments.
• Influence stakeholders to adopt processes that improve data integrity and support self-help analytics and data governance.
• Develop systems and processes to transform raw data into actionable insights.
• Assess data quality and usability for visualizations.
• Enhance and improve existing reporting and analysis.
• Ensure data integrity in reporting and analytical products, working with relevant departments to resolve issues.
• Monitor ETL processes to maintain reporting continuity across departments.

Requirements

• At least 2 years' experience with SQL, including writing complex queries; experience with Google Big Query is advantageous.
• Over 1 year of experience creating reports and dashboards.
• Proficiency with visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Data Studio, Power BI.
• Ability to design and develop reports using various tools.
• Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills.
• Advanced skills in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying complex information clearly.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving aptitude.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
