The Audio Accounting Team is part of the Bauer Shared Service Centre, who provide expert in house accounting services to the Bauer UK Audio Business. The Team ensures that our Management Accounts are produced timely and accurately and ensures they support the needs of the Business and the requirement of our Group Head Office in Hamburg.
In this role you will be supporting the reporting manager and our Audio team.

This is a full-time hybrid position based in Peterborough, offering the flexibility to work both from home and from our office as needed.

What you will do

• Production of Management Accounts for the relevant area and liaising with the respective Business Analyst
• Ensure that all reporting adheres to relevant accounting standards and regulations, such as IFRS or GAAP
• Analyze financial statements such as balance sheets and P&L reports to identify discrepancies and opportunities for improvement
• Support the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
• Liaise with external auditors, supplying required documentation and clear explanations throughout the audit process
• Ad hoc tasks to ensure the Month End deadlines are met

What you will bring

• An accounting qualification or relevant experience in a similar role
• Advanced Excel skills, with the ability to work confidently with complex data sets
• Experience with S/4HANA is a plus, but not essential
• Proven ability to manage a busy workload, particularly during the month-end close process
• Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to engaging stakeholders
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy
