Reporting Accountant

We have a fantastic opening for a Reporting Accountant to join our Backstage support team in Finance.


Our Backstage support teams are crucial to the delivery across all five of our venues – The NEC, bp pulse LIVE, Utilita Arena Birmingham, the ICC, and Vox - and include IT, Finance, Marketing, People, Legal, Safety and Procurement. Collaborating seamlessly with our frontline operational teams to create unforgettable moments for the millions of people that visit us each year.


About The Role
We are looking for an experienced accountant that will play a key role in the production of monthly management accounts, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the group’s financial data.


Day to day you will:
• Provide efficiently produced periodic management accounts.
• Account for Event P&L performance through appropriate accruals and cost allocations.
• Support the Commercial Finance team in the production of quarterly forecasts, annual budgets and long-term plans.
• Support business decision making through provision of timely and accurate financial information.

About You
Our Ideal Candidate will:
• Have an Accountancy qualification or competency gained through experience.
• Literate in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred but not essential.
