Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Ensuring the team complies with legal standards and company procedures at all times.
  2. Reducing stock loss by challenging causes of shrinkage and wastage.
  3. Reducing replenishment costs by ensuring stock is handled efficiently, products have appropriate space for their rate of sale, and maintaining accuracy and security in the goods receiving department.
  4. Collaborating with stock control and delivery teams to resolve causes of off-sales.
  5. Ensuring effective replenishment to maintain product availability for customers.

To succeed in this role, you should be passionate about providing exceptional operational standards. Flexibility in management style, adaptability, and a proactive approach to challenges are essential. You should enjoy working with and managing a team.

Excellent communication skills are required, and some experience in supervising or managing a team is preferred. Experience in food retailing is desirable but not essential.
