Job summary

Bd Group is recruiting an experienced technical supervisor to manage the legal disrepair process from first report to final invoicing. You will oversee trades operatives and sub-contractors, ensuring accurate information, timely invoicing, and high service standards.

You will collaborate with the SDM to improve processes, provide data and MI, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships across client teams and authorities. Hybrid/office-based role with travel to sites in Barking & Dagenham.

Qualifications

• GCSE maths and English at grade 9–4 or equivalent.
• Trade-specific qualification(s) in plumbing, carpentry, electrics, or repairs.
• Experience in a supervisory role within repairs/minor works.
• Analytical ability to understand data.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive service delivery.
• Full UK driving licence; willing to travel to sites around Barking and Dagenham.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with scheduling team and sub-contractors for accurate job info and invoicing.
• Carry out pre- and post inspections to ensure high standards of work.
• Assist the SDM in managing contractors and driving efficiency and cost control.
• Provide data, reports and MI for quality control and budgetary data.
• Stakeholder and people management; attend monthly sub-contractor meetings.
• Manage day-to-day administration of the team.
• Attend client/stakeholder panels and other meetings.
• Act as a point of contact for customers and resolve queries promptly.
