About the Role:

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Responsive Repairs Supervisor to join our team, focusing on delivering essential maintenance services within the social housing sector in Ealing and the surrounding areas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective delivery of reactive repairs, managing a team of tradespeople, and ensuring the highest standards of workmanship and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and coordinate responsive repairs across various social housing properties in Ealing.
2. Manage and lead a team of tradespeople, ensuring timely and high-quality completion of tasks.
3. Conduct thorough site inspections to assess repair requirements and provide accurate estimates.
4. Effectively schedule and prioritise repairs, managing workload and resources while addressing urgent resident needs.
5. Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
6. Maintain excellent communication and customer service with social housing residents.
7. Accurately maintain records of completed work and materials used.
8. Manage the company van and fuel card.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Repairs Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor, or similar role, ideally within the social housing sector.
2. Strong knowledge of building maintenance and repair practices.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to manage and motivate a team. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
5. Valid UK driving license.
6. Demonstrated understanding of the challenges and sensitivities of working in social housing.
7. Experience in reactive maintenance and trade management.
8. SMSTS or SSSTS (Desirable).
