The Vacancy

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Repairs Supervisor to lead our responsive maintenance operations across social housing properties in Croydon. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in day-to-day repairs, voids, and planned maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of operatives delivering responsive repairs and void refurbishments.
  • Ensure works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Liaise with tenants, housing officers, and contractors to resolve issues and maintain satisfaction.
  • Support scheduling, resource planning, and reporting.

Requirements:
  • SSSTS qualification (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) – essential.
  • Experience in social housing repairs, including day-to-day maintenance and voids .
  • Strong knowledge of trades including kitchens, bathrooms, electrics, and general building works .
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
