Job Title: Repairs Supervisor

Fortus Recruitment is currently representing a maintenance contractor seeking a Repairs Supervisor to join their property services division.

This permanent position is based in Colchester/Essex, working on a recently awarded contract. The role involves delivering reactive repair services and void refurbishments to scattered housing properties. You will oversee a large team of direct operatives and subcontractors as needed.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise operatives on a daily basis
2. Conduct pre- and post-inspections of works
3. Organize and allocate operative workload according to the program
4. Lead toolbox talks and monitor health and safety compliance
5. Use NHF SOR to price works
6. Travel between properties as required
7. Communicate with clients and tenants regarding works
