£17.82 to £19.27 LTD / £15.29 to £16.54 PAYE (inc hol)

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Repairs Planner to join a well-established Housing Association in Manchester, supporting the delivery of an efficient and customer-focused repairs service.

THE ROLE
This role is responsible for the appointment scheduling and administrative support of the Property Services team, ensuring repairs are delivered efficiently and customer satisfaction remains high.


  • Schedule appointments for operatives to maximise workforce efficiency

  • Liaise with tenants, contractors, suppliers and operatives to manage daily repair activities

  • Handle day-to-day, void, cyclical and emergency repairs

  • Monitor and order materials and supplies, ensuring compliance and budgetary control

  • Support data entry, invoice processing and purchase order management

  • Maintain accurate records in line with legal and system requirements

  • Provide operational cover and contribute to improving business continuity


THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar Repairs Planner or Scheduler role within a housing or maintenance setting.


  • Proven ability to manage high-volume scheduling and repair coordination

  • Strong customer service skills with experience resolving tenant queries

  • Confident using IT systems including Microsoft Office and repairs software

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced team

  • Experience with repair types, scheduling systems and property maintenance procedures


THE CONTRACT


  • 35 Hours Per Week

  • 6 Months, 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday

  • The pay range for the role is £17.82 to £19.27 per hour LTD company rate.

  • The PAYE equivalent is £15.29 to £16.54 per hour, inclusive of holiday.
