What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Lead and coordinate a busy Direct Labour Organisation (DLO) workforce, ensuring quality, timeliness, and value for money.
  • Conduct full property surveys, raise and manage work orders, and oversee completion to a high standard.
  • Drive performance across reactive repairs, planned works, and compliance with health and safety legislation.
  • Work with colleagues to champion innovation, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor quality standards through inspections, data analysis, and audits.
  • Support with disrepair claims, insurance cases, mutual exchanges, and adaptations.
  • Be part of the out-of-hours rota (including occasional weekend work).

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience managing repairs or voids services in a housing or property maintenance environment.
  • Knowledge of relevant housing legislation, health & safety, and maintenance standards.
  • Ability to lead field-based teams, manage multiple priorities, and solve complex operational issues.
  • Strong communication, IT, and project coordination skills.
  • Relevant qualification in Building Construction, Surveying, or a similar field (HND or professional membership such as CIOB or RICS desirable).
  • NEBOSH or equivalent H&S training preferred.
  • A full UK driving licence and business-use insurance.
