Overview

Multi Skilled Engineer – Permanent, Full Time. Build Recruitment are working with a leading Housing Association to recruit a Multi Skilled Engineer. Covering Cambridgeshire and the East of England (main towns: Cambridge, Peterborough, Stevenage, Hitchin, Luton, Bedford, Haverhill).

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive and planned repairs to both occupied and void properties. Work across trades including minor plumbing, joinery, tiling & flooring, and kitchen and bathroom fitting. Ensure works are completed efficiently, safely, and in line with best practice to deliver an excellent customer experience. Tasks are completed using a handheld device (full training provided).

About You / Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 Building Maintenance Operative (or equivalent)
• CSCS Blue Skilled Workers Card
• Sound knowledge of Health & Safety practices
• Experience working in both occupied and void properties
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on completing repairs on time, first time
• Experience within social housing maintenance (desirable)
• You must also:
  • Have your own tools
  • Hold a full UK driving licence (minimum 12 months)
