Repairs Contracts Manager

Location: South West London

Salary: £45-£55k

Sector: Repairs & Building Maintenance

Daniel Owen is proud to represent a social housing company in the South West London area, seeking a Repairs Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a large team of operatives, overseeing contracts involving commercial and social housing projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage the contract to ensure all operatives work efficiently and productively.
  • Ensure that supplier and subcontractor works are carried out according to work sheets and meet all contract KPI targets.
  • Liaise with customers and handle any queries or issues.
  • Ensure works are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Meet all client expectations.
  • Have responsive repairs management experience within social housing, local authority, or contractor backgrounds.
  • Complete and submit all paperwork and reports in line with company procedures.
  • Manage projects focused on day-to-day and cyclical repairs.
  • Manage a team of operatives, including toolbox talks and performance reviews.
  • Travel between sites; working from home temporarily.
  • Maintain a tidy and safe workplace.
  • Complete timesheets, work sheets, and reports as required.
  • Attend inspections as necessary.
Key Knowledge:
  • Knowledge of maintenance, facilities, or the construction industry.
  • Experience in social housing or local authority settings.
  • Familiarity with SOR codes.
  • IT literate.
