The Role:

We are searching for an experienced Repair Technician to join our Luminary Lighting team at Direct Digital in Park Royal, London!

You will play a key role in the repair, maintenance, and testing processes, ensuring equipment is returned to service swiftly and efficiently, meeting our high standards of safety, functionality, and presentation.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Diagnose and repair complex lighting equipment.
  2. Ensure all repairs meet agreed quality standards and are rigorously tested before dispatch.
  3. Proactive in gaining further technical knowledge on new technologies in the industry.
  4. Oversee the repair parts and sales item ordering process, maximizing cost-effectiveness and cash flow.
  5. Maintain a well-organized and safe working environment.
  6. Liaise with external suppliers and contractors, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  7. Contribute to the development and enhancement of Luminary's profile through exceptional service.
  8. Proactively identify and address potential hazards, ensuring a safe working environment.
  9. Engage with clients in person, over the phone, and via email.
What you’ll bring to the role:
  • Proven experience as a Repair Technician or in a related role.
  • Proven experience servicing lighting equipment and related accessories, in a rental house or a professional lighting environment.
  • Excellent technical skills with enthusiasm for providing excellent customer service and solving problems efficiently.
  • Self-motivated team player with a can-do attitude.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
