Job summary

PrimeFlight Engineering in the United Kingdom is seeking an aircraft support technician to perform maintenance and repairs on ULDs, pallets, nets and covers, following repair manuals and safety guidelines. You will aim to meet productivity targets while maintaining quality.

The role requires precise workmanship, strong teamwork, and the ability to log repair work using the company tablets. Training provided for forklift and welding as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to ULDs, Pallets, Nets and Covers per manuals and guidelines.
• Meet minimum productivity goals consistently.
• Adhere to safety and security guidelines.
• Repair covers and roll cargo straps as required.
• Component removal and replacement.
• Cutting and grinding aluminium.
• Rivet installation and removal.
• Straightening and replacement of pallet led rails; fitting and replacement of corners.
• Replacement of new extrusion.
• Repair and replace composite material including vulcanising.
• Use of basic hand tools and air tools.
• Welding and forklift operation may be required – training provided if necessary.
• Any other duties reasonably requested by management.

The role performs maintenance and repairs to aircraft Unit Load Devices (ULD), Pallets, Nets and Covers per all applicable guidelines and requirements. Understands repair procedures as outlined in the repair manuals and performs all repairs per the guidelines. Able to meet minimum productivity goals consistently.
