Job summary

Megger Instruments Limited is seeking a motivated Repair Technician to repair, calibrate, and return Dover-manufactured instruments. You will perform firmware updates, minor repairs, and diagnostics while reporting findings to the quality department.

Role focuses on producing inspection reports, supporting calibration, and handling fault reports to ensure instruments meet quality standards. Significant hands-on repair work and documentation are involved.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in electronics with PCB-level fault finding and repair.
• ERP system experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety practices relevant to low and high voltage work.
• Enthusiastic, flexible and self-motivated with a methodical approach.
• Strong diagnostic and practical skills, able to work unsupervised to meet deadlines.

The Vacancy

We are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our multinational group of talented professionals and right now we are seeking to recruit a motivated and talented Repair Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the repair, calibration, and return-to-stock (RTS) of Dover-manufactured instruments. You will play a key part in ensuring all instruments meet quality standards, performing firmware/software updates, minor repairs, and diagnostic testing, while reporting findings to our quality department.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce CCC inspection reports and maintain repair documentation.
• Support the calibration and repair of instruments as required.
• Carry out minor adjustments and component-level repairs, including soldering.
• Manage common fault reports for repairs and calibration.
• Complete allocated repair work efficiently, meeting departmental KPIs.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications
