Job summary

Panton McLeod is seeking Repairs Operatives to join a growing team in the Scottish Borders. This site-based role involves travel across Scotland and the UK, and delivery of concrete and structural repairs, coatings and civils work.

You will work to RAMS and method statements, set up safe working areas, mix and apply repair materials, and safely use hand and power tools. A full UK driving licence is required, with overtime, training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Experience working within construction, infrastructure, utilities or engineering.
• Experience using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work at height safely and in confined spaces.
• Willingness to travel across Scotland and the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out concrete repairs, structural repairs, coatings and linings, pipework, civils and groundwork activities.
• Working safely in accordance with approved RAMS and method statements.
• Setting up and maintaining safe working areas, including barriers, signage and access equipment.
• Mixing, applying and finishing repair materials to manufacturer specifications.
• Using hand tools, power tools and small plant safely and correctly.
• Completing pre-use equipment inspections and reporting defects.
• Maintaining clean, safe and organised work areas.
• Working collaboratively with Site Supervisors and fellow operatives to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.

We are recruiting for Repair Operatives in the Scottish Borders.

• £33,667.40 to £38,014.60 per annum

Panton McLeod is a specialist contractor delivering high-quality repair, maintenance and structural solutions across the UK's water and infrastructure sectors. We are looking for hardworking, safety-focused Repairs Operatives to join our growing team based out of Selkirk.

This is a physically demanding, site-based role that includes routine confined space working and regular travel across Scotland and the UK.
