Job Description:

Rents and Service Charge Accountant | £35,000 - £42,000 | West Midlands:

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a Housing Association in the Midlands who are looking to recruit a Rent and Service Charge Officer for their busy and growing team. The role offers hybrid working and an excellent benefits package; reduced/condensed hours can be considered.

Duties:

Responsible for the service charge accounts and budgeting
Monitoring service charge costs against budgets and investigating any variances
Completing weekly reconciliations of service charge accounts and preparing balance sheet reconciliations
Dealing with internal/external queries and complaints
Presenting and translating financial information to a varied audience

Experience:

Experience working within the Housing Sector and rents and service charge
Able to pick up new processes and systems quickly and efficiently
AAT qualified / ACCA, CIMA, CPIFA part qualified or experience to this level
