Job Description:

Rents and Service Charge Accountant | £35,000 - £42,000 | West Midlands:

Castlefield Recruitment are working with a Housing Association in the Midlands who are looking to recruit a Rent and Service Charge Officer for their busy and growing team. The role offers hybrid working and an excellent benefits package; reduced/condensed hours can be considered.

Duties:

  • Responsible for the service charge accounts and budgeting
  • Monitoring service charge costs against budgets and investigating any variances
  • Completing weekly reconciliations of service charge accounts and preparing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Dealing with internal/external queries and complaints
  • Presenting and translating financial information to a varied audience

Experience:

  • Experience working within the Housing Sector and rents and service charge
  • Able to pick up new processes and systems quickly and efficiently
  • AAT qualified / ACCA, CIMA, CPIFA part qualified or experience to this level
