Europcar Mobility Group is seeking a Rental Sales Agent at our Liverpool desk to deliver a world-class customer experience, selling car hire and add-on services while meeting performance targets.

You will work in a fast-paced front-desk environment, handle calls and bookings, and contribute to a diverse team that values service, integrity and opportunity for commission.

Qualifications

• A full, valid clean driving licence with a minimum of 4 years driving experience.
• Able to work as part of a team and communicate clearly in writing and speech.
• Enthusiastic about selling and able to handle objections.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high quality rental service to meet customer needs.
• Be commercially aware and report on prospective business opportunities.
• Sell Europcar's services and products to achieve targets.

• Accurately complete rental admin and vehicle documentation, including damages reporting.

Europcar is looking for Rental Sales Agents. Would you like to be part of the Europcar team? Are you someone who enjoys and excels in customer facing roles? Do you enjoy achieving targets and working as part of a diverse team? We are looking for Rental Sales Agents at our Liverpool location to work as part of our team on the front desk. You will be working in a fast paced environment where the customer is at the centre of everything we do. You will be responsible for providing a world class customer facing service whilst offering our range of additional products and services to make their onward journey easier. Through our service approach to sales, you’ll also have the opportunity to earn some serious commission!

Main duties:

• Provide a high quality rental service to meet customer needs.
• To be commercially aware and recognise and report on prospective business opportunities and competitor activity.
• Sell the company’s services and products to achieve targets.
• Handle telephone enquiries in a polite and professional manner.
• Accurately complete all rental administration and vehicle documentation as well as the reporting of damage.
• Responsibility for cash, vehicles, premises and customer safety.

Car rental will see the light a few years later, across the Atlantic, but its development will be stopped by the first and then by the Second World Wars. In the aftermath of the war, a Parisian entrepreneur revived the idea: "If you can't afford to buy a car, why not rent one when you need it?". His name was Raoul-Louis Mattei and in 1949, he created "L'Abonnement Automobile": a company that would later become the Compagnie Internationale Europcars, then Europcar. Its headquarters, located 11 rue du Champ de Mars also included a rental agency. The company's success was rapid, as car rental responded to a real need.
