Job summary

Motive8 is seeking a reliable self-employed Personal Trainer to deliver group inductions, 1-1 sessions and group exercise classes at our Reading site (RG1 8DQ). Start from 1 October 2026 with weekday evenings and weekend availability. This rent-free opportunity lets you build a PT client base while delivering high-quality inductions.

You must hold a Level 3 PT certification and valid self-employed insurance. Pay rates: £21 per group induction, £30 per 1-1 induction, £35 per PT session.

Qualifications

• Self-employed status with Level 3 PT certification required.
• Minimum of £5 million Professional Indemnity Cover.
• Experience delivering group inductions and 1-1 PT sessions.
• Availability to start 1 October 2026 with evening/weekend slots.
• Rent-free opportunity – no gym rent to pay.

Responsibilities

• Deliver group gym facility inductions (gym, studio, leisure areas).
• Deliver 1-1 gym induction sessions with PT consultation and tasters.
• Deliver planned personal training sessions.
• Handle administration like attendance marking on the platform.
• Demonstrate equipment use and safety protocols during inductions.
• Maintain professional communication with motive8 head office and residents.
