Role: Renewals & Customer Service Representative

Location: Liverpool, Hybrid

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, 09:00am - 17:30pm, 1 in 3 Saturdays 09:00am - 17:30pm

Salary: £25,877 - £27,515 plus up to £2,000 performance-related bonus per annum

The Renewals & Customer Service Representative role is a fast-paced, customer-focused sales position, working in a friendly, target-driven inbound sales environment where teamwork and positivity are part of the company culture.

The Renewals Agent will require excellent sales and customer service skills as you engage with new and existing customers. Full training and ongoing coaching will be provided, including industry knowledge in FCA regulated areas and all necessary tools to help you grow your career and serve our customers effectively.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Reviewing an allocated renewal invite list
  2. Inviting policies compliantly
  3. Checking policy data accuracy
  4. Ensuring client records are updated appropriately
  5. Reviewing market analysis fairly
  6. Handling inbound and outbound calls
  7. Renewing motor policies compliantly
  8. Auto-renewing motor policies
  9. Selling added value products compliantly
  10. Responding to customer renewal queries

Candidate requirements:

  • Excellent IT and data entry skills
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Previous sales or customer service experience (insurance experience is preferable but not essential)
  • Excellent customer service skills with a confident and pleasant phone manner
  • Organizational skills and workload prioritization
  • Target-driven and proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Self-motivated and proactive problem-solver
  • Effective at communicating verbally and in writing at all levels
  • Polite and professional attitude
