About The Role

In this varied role, you will liaise with prospective customers, discussing quotations and the benefits of installing solar PV in addition to designing systems and using PV_SOL to their requirements.

About You

We are looking for a Renewables Technical Designer, ideally from an electrical or renewable engineering background, to join our design team.

The successful candidate will be able to build relationships easily, have a passion for renewable products, a keen eye for detail, and be a competent computer user.

No direct experience is required for this role; however, basic knowledge of different property builds and electrical knowledge would be a strong advantage. Full training will be provided, and hybrid working is a possibility for the right candidate.

Job Opportunity

• Designing solar systems using PV_SOL
• Managing the entire customer lifecycle from initial contact and proposal through to system handover to our operations team, ensuring SLAs are met
• Liaising with prospective customers, discussing quotations, and educating the benefits of solar installation
• Work closely with Sales and Customer Success teams and maintain a seamless customer relationship

Essential Skills

• A natural relationship-builder with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Passionate about renewable products
• Experience working with domestic customers
• Ability to problem-solve
• Computer literacy
• An electrical or engineering background is preferred
• PV_SOL experience is desirable
