Job summary

MJ Quinn is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily operations on ground-mounted solar PV projects in the UK. You will supervise subcontractors, ensure safe working practices, monitor progress, and report to the Project Manager in line with HSQE standards and CDM regulations.

The role requires 3–5 years in site supervision, with Ground Mount Solar Farm experience, ability to read drawings, manage subcontractors, and maintain quality and compliance across installations in the renewables sector.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in site supervision, preferably in renewable energy or large-scale solar PV.
• Ground Mount Solar Farm experience.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and enforce safety.
• IOSH or NEBOSH certification.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong understanding of UK construction and renewable energy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractors and oversee daily site operations on renewable energy projects.
• Ensure safe working practices and compliance with CDM regulations.
• Prepare and maintain daily and weekly progress reports for the Project Manager.
• Identify risks, delays, and quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• Snag and quality checks prior to project completion.
• Act as the on-site point of contact for subcontractors and suppliers.
