Grid Connection Manager

TGRC is on the lookout for a skilled and dynamic Grid Connection Manager to join our renewable energy efforts in Essex. This is a 16-month contract offering a competitive day rate of £500, aimed at professionals who are ready to take their careers to the next level in an exciting and fast-evolving sector.

About the Role

In this crucial role, you will manage the grid connection processes for various renewable energy projects, ensuring efficient integration into the national grid system. Your expertise will directly contribute to the advancement of sustainable energy technologies in the region.

Responsibilities

Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for the grid connection of renewable energy projects.

Technical Supervision: Oversee all technical aspects of grid connections, from initial assessments to final implementation, ensuring all solutions are both innovative and compliant with current standards.

Stakeholder Relations: Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders including utilities, contractors, and government agencies to facilitate seamless project execution.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects meet local and national regulations and standards with a proactive approach to safety and environmental compliance.

Performance Monitoring: Regularly evaluate project performance, providing detailed reports and recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications

Experience: At least 3 years of experience managing grid connections within the renewable energy sector.

Certifications: Valid Health & Safety tickets relevant to grid management and renewable energy projects.
