Job summary

Example Recruitment Group is recruiting on behalf of a national heating contractor, to appoint a qualified electrician for Nottingham and Lincoln areas, wiring renewables in domestic social housing.

The role entails periodic inspection, testing and certification, installation of renewables systems, fault diagnosis and repair, and delivering high levels of customer care while strictly following health and safety regulations. The package includes a competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in renewables technology (essential).
• 2 years’ experience as a qualified electrician
• 18th edition Qualification
• 2391 Test & Inspection or Equivalent
• Part P is desirable
• Full UK Driving Licence
• No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out on offer of employment)

Responsibilities

• Conduct periodic inspection, testing and certifications.
• Installation of renewables systems such as Air Source Heat Pumps ensuring compliance and operational safety standards.
• Diagnose and repair electrical failures and faults on systems.
• Providing high levels of customer care when dealing with tenants and clients
• Ensure all Health & Safety requirements and legislation are followed including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records.
