Job Title: Renewables Electrician

Location: Manchester

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are working on behalf of a rapidly growing business within the renewable energy sector that is at the forefront of sustainable technology solutions. As demand for green energy continues to rise, they are expanding their dynamic team and are now seeking a skilled and motivated Renewables Electrician to join them on their mission to drive the UK’s transition to cleaner energy.

The Role:

As a Renewables Electrician, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality installations across a range of renewable systems. You will be responsible for electrical work on ventilation systems, Air Source Heat Pump installations, heating systems, and Solar PV systems, ensuring each job is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical wiring of ventilation systems
• Interpreting and working on S & Y plans for Air Source Heat Pump installations
• Wiring up domestic heating systems and fitting new heating controls
• Installation and wiring of Solar PV systems
• Supporting other electrical or installation tasks as required
• Ensuring all work complies with current electrical regulations and industry best practices
• Working collaboratively with installation teams and project managers

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• Previous experience in renewable energy installations (desirable but not essential)
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Understanding of domestic heating and ventilation systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
