A boutique-sized Renewable Energy Engineering company is offering a 12-week Internship Program for Electrical and Electronics Engineering students and graduates. The company aims to establish a formal graduate program starting with this Renewable Energy Engineering Internship.

As a Renewable Energy Engineering Intern, you will gain practical experience in wind, solar, and building services energy efficiency projects. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to be involved in Australia's emerging renewable industry, covering the entire project lifecycle from tendering and planning to design, construction, and project hand-over.

Renewable Energy Engineering Internship Roles and Responsibilities:

• Preparing solar designs and quotations using software such as Aurora Solar and PVSell
• Developing in-house skills to estimate commercial battery storage
• Reviewing quotations and exploring sales and profit growth opportunities
• Collaborating with third-party suppliers, installers, and customers alongside senior project engineers
• Conducting technical due diligence of proposed and existing solar and wind energy systems

What You Will Learn in the Renewable Energy Engineering Internship:

• Designing solar energy systems and generating proposals using industry-standard software
• Gaining experience with tools like HelioScope, Aurora Solar, PVSell, and AutoCAD
• Working on projects validated by the Clean Energy Council and training to become a CEC-certified engineer
• Understanding Australian Standards and Design Codes
• Applying your electrical and electronics engineering knowledge in real-world projects
