Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our renewable energy portfolio. This role will focus on identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding market presence within the clean energy sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the renewable energy market (e.g., solar, wind, storage, etc.)
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners, investors, and key industry stakeholders
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor activity
- Lead the preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations, and RFP responses
- Collaborate with technical, finance, legal, and operations teams to structure and negotiate contracts
- Manage the sales pipeline and forecast revenue in alignment with company targets
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
- Monitor policy, regulatory, and funding developments that impact renewable energy projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus)
- Experience in business development or sales, preferably within the renewable energy or clean tech sectors
- Proven track record of closing deals and developing large-scale partnerships or projects
- Strong understanding of the renewable energy industry, including key technologies, players, and market drivers
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
- Willingness to travel as needed
To be join our team, you will need:
- Knowledge of load monitoring equipment or a background in an engineering/technical company would be a distinct advantage
- Previous offshore wind experience and/or Renewables, Oil & Gas sector experience
- Proven ability to establish new customers and develop existing client accounts
- Driving license, passport and ability to travel away from home up to 30% of the time
- Proven negotiation and closing skills
