Job summary

Infinity Energy Services is seeking an experienced Electrician to join the installation team in the Southampton region. You will primarily install and commission residential renewable energy systems, including Solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging points.

The role offers training and progression within a growing renewable energy company, with a focus on quality installations and customer service. A strong emphasis is placed on safety, regulatory compliance, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation is required.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification is required.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations is required.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission Solar PV systems.
• Install and commission battery storage systems.
• Install EV charging points.
• Carry out electrical testing, inspection and certification.
• System commissioning and customer handovers.
• Electrical diagnostics and fault-finding.
• Complete electrical certificates and installation documentation.
• Ensure compliance with BS 7671, current electrical regulations and health & safety requirements.
• Work with installation team to deliver high-quality completed installations.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide a high standard of customer service.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, organisation and site safety.
