Job summary

Infinity Energy Services is seeking an experienced Electrician to join its installation team in the renewable energy sector. You will install and commission residential Solar PV, battery storage and EV charging systems, while ensuring compliance with BS 7671 and safety standards.

The role emphasizes high-quality workmanship, customer service, and ongoing training to develop skills in solar PV, storage and EV solutions. A strong team player with a professional approach is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 NVQ in Electrical Installation.
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a qualified electrician.
• ECS Card.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong electrical testing and fault-finding skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• High standards of workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional and confident manner when working in customers' homes.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission Solar PV systems.
• Install and commission battery storage systems.
• Install EV charging points.
• Carry out electrical testing, inspection and certification.
• System commissioning and customer handovers.
• Electrical diagnostics and fault-finding.
• Complete electrical certificates and installation documentation accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with BS 7671 and health & safety requirements.
• Work with installation team to deliver high-quality completed installations.
• Communicate professionally with customers and provide a high standard of customer service.
• Maintain excellent standards of workmanship, organisation and site safety.
