Job summary
CBW Staffing Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Electrician for Central Belt projects, covering Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV charging, and ASHP electrical systems. You will perform wiring, testing, and certification to BS 7671 standards, in residential, commercial, and social housing settings across Scotland and the wider UK.
Applicants should have NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, and an Inspection & Testing qualification, plus a Full UK Driving Licence.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent).
- ECS/JIB Gold Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience installing Solar PV and Battery Storage.
Responsibilities
- Install, commission and test Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging and ASHP electrical systems.
- Complete AC/DC wiring, inverters, consumer unit upgrades and associated electrical works.
- Carry out inspection, testing, fault finding and certification per BS 7671 and industry standards.
- Accurately complete digital job records, certification and QA documentation with photographic evidence.
- Liaise with customers, site teams and project managers to ensure delivery.
- Maintain high health, safety and workmanship standards and support labourers and apprentices.
