Renewable Claims Lead – Salary Competitive

A bit about the job

You’ll shape and lead our renewable energy claims proposition—making sure we deliver brilliant service through strong client relationships and expert claims handling.

You’ll take ownership of the renewables portfolio, working closely with underwriting, product, actuarial and risk teams to share insights and shape strategy. You’ll build a data and reporting framework that helps us track performance and drive growth.

You’ll also support new and renewal business propositions, including reviewing product wordings. And you’ll lead a dedicated team of experienced claims handlers—helping them grow, thrive and deliver great outcomes for our customers.

Skills and experience we’re looking for

  • Strong experience handling complex renewable energy claims in a lead capacity across the London Market and international portfolios.
  • Hands-on experience managing major international losses, with a clear understanding of jurisdictional rules, reinsurance, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to build strong client relationships and bring commercial thinking to the table—balancing technical claims expertise with a focus on great customer outcomes. Confident leader and communicator, with a track record of building great relationships with stakeholders.
  • A solid grasp of legal developments and industrial risks in the renewables sector.
  • Comfortable working with data—able to spot opportunities, translate metrics, and turn insights into performance and risk reports.
