Salary: £31,067 - £34,314 per annum pro rata (Grade 6 SCP 19-24)
Hours: 29.6 hours per weekto be worked over4 days (to be negotiated within standard working hours,Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.Occasional evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays required)

Bromsgrove District Council is seeking an energetic and suitably qualified Skills Development Coordinator to support the coordination and face to face delivery of the ReNEW (Rediscover North East Worcestershire) project between October 2025 and the Autumn of 2027. The project is funded with a £550,000 Arts Council England National Lottery Place Partnership Fund, financial contributions from Redditch Borough and Bromsgrove District Councils, the National Trust, and the time and energy of partners from the Cultural Compact for North East Worcestershire Partnership.
The ReNEW project has two core aims:
The focus of the Skills Development Co-ordinator role for ReNEW is to coordinate training opportunities for up to 200 young people across the project, support the ProjectManager to supervise two Learning and Participation apprenticeships, facilitate skills camps and workshops linked to the ReNEW project, and coordinate a broad range of skills and capacity development opportunities for the local cultural sector in Redditch and Bromsgrove
This Skills Development Co-Ordinator role is vital in ensuring young people gain valuable creative industry experience while supporting the long-term sustainability of the Local Cultural Sector through training and development programmes.
