Job summary

East and North Hertfordshire Teaching NHS Trust seeks a Nurse Team Leader for Renal, Home Haemodialysis. You will lead clinical and operational delivery within renal services, focusing on training and supporting staff to provide high-quality home dialysis care.

You will deputise for senior nursing leadership, drive learning initiatives, and promote patient-centred care across CKC Dialysis Centre and Lister Hospital locations.

Qualifications

• First level nurse on Part 1 of the NMC register, educated to diploma level.
• Renal course and mentorship qualification required.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and commitment to life-long learning.
• Evidence of leadership training/development.

Responsibilities

• deputise for the Senior Sister/Charge Nurse in their absence for unit delivery.
• Provide clinical and managerial leadership to nursing and support staff.
• Contribute to learning and development culture within the renal department.
• Assess dialysis patients' health and wellbeing needs and implement care programmes.
• Based at CKC Dialysis Centre or Lister Hospital or work across both sites to promote Home Haemodialysis.
