Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Stockport is seeking an NMC registered nurse to join the renal dialysis unit. You will learn specialist skills in dialysis nursing, assessing care needs and balancing holistic patient care. The unit operates 24 haemodialysis stations and maintains a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.

Qualifications

• NMC registered nurse with valid PIN.
• Experience in renal dialysis nursing is beneficial.
• Ability to work autonomously and deliver holistic care.

Responsibilities

• Assess care needs and develop, implement and evaluate dialysis care.
• Provide holistic care while managing dialysis patients.
• Coordinate care for up to 108 patients across 24 haemodialysis stations.
• Work in a 23-hour-per-week role with shifts between 7:00 and 18:30.
